Look at the camera...
I have the cutest nephew, and he is always so good at looking at the camera for pictures. But the day we went out to take family portraits, he had no desire to look at the camera, he barely even looked in the same direction of the camera. "Look at the camera. Oh, look over here, look at the camera!" I said this over and over, but I was just a whisper compared to all the exciting adventures calling out to Marcus. He was having too much fun playing and running and looking at new interesting things. Marcus has joy that flows out of him which makes any day, so good! Thanks for a happy shoot!

Books and Railroads
Cara and I joined a photo contest and this is the last day to vote. We want to win some books from Charles Martin and need a few more votes to win! You can help by going to my facebook and clicking "like" on the photo of me reading a book while walking on railroad tracks. It would be fun to win, and easy for you to help with only one click!! Here are some shots I took of Cara on the railroad that turned out really fun.

Snow, snow, snow.
I love snow covered trees! It is a beautiful sight that does not last long. We drove up to Mt. Spokane to find snow covered trees for the Tibbett's family portrait, and it was well worth the drive! The photos look great with all the trees and the family sacrificed their coats to get these wonderful photos. I was all bundled up and had a great time shooting in the snow;) Beauty knows no pain. They did great, and the kids had lots of fun sliding around on the ice. The two brothers wanted to pelt their sister, or anyone with a snowball, but that was quickly over-ruled by their parents! Thanks for a fun family shoot!

Winter Wonderland
A few weeks ago I woke up to a beautiful sunrise over a snow covered world.
Last week I went with family friends to chop down a christmas tree from the wild! It was so fun, but tiring dragging that tree back from the woods. I wanted to take photos of the whole thing, but after ten minutes and one good image, my camera battery died. Why?! It was a beautiful day! It will just have to stay as a memory in my mind;)

Its a Fall Family
Tobin is one of the cutest babies ever! As you can tell from past blogs, I go crazy over babies... He has sparkling wide eyes that remind me of a kitten, and he is aware and alert looking at his surroundings. Meaghan and Josh are such wonderful parents who watch Tobin's movements with love and joy. It was a cold day, and we had to go fast taking these pictures! But it all turned out great! Thanks for a fun shoot.

Joy to my Heart
My nephew Marcus is such a sweet blessing to the Hadford/Vander Giessen family! He is full of laughter, and gibber gabber, and squeals of happiness. The squeals could go down a notch or two, though... He loves cars and trucks! At Manito Park we sat on a bench for at least 20 minutes watching a tractor lift leaves into a truck. Marcus would have sat there for the rest of the afternoon if he could, but they took a break. "Bye bye, vroom vroom," he said, after much reluctance. Thanks for a wonderful nephew, Alexandria and Michael!
