Life is Golden

My friend Pranee has been talking to me about over exposing in my camera to get more pastel looking photos. We talk all the time about how to make our photography better and about new things we are learning and trying. Pranee is such an inspiration to me! So the other day, while the sun was setting I tried out a few of the exposure techniques we talked about. What do you think, Pranee?
Of course, I used my "cutest in the world" baby nephew as my subject. And some fun dogs that I am taking care of.

Sound

All weekend it rained, but we were determined to go to the Sound. Actually, I was the only one who was truly determined and nothing was going to stop me, so I forced Kristen and Angela to join me.

Playing in the backyard with Caleb. He is always asking questions and loves to be outside!
"What is this?" he asks, pointing to the alien plant.

Mountain Air

All winter I have been wanting to go up to Mt. Spokane, or any mountain really and see the lovely winter sights and snow. My good friend Kristen came home, so off on an adventure we went, with her parents. And good thing her Dad drove, or else we would have slid right off the mountain! Our goal was to snow-shoe, but when we got to our destination there was only an inch of snow. So it turned into a hike, and the inch of snow eventually turned into two feet of snow! But it was warm with a beautiful sight of fog gliding down the tall hills.

Little Friends

Logan and Marcus are little friends who have spent much time together during their little lives. They look at each other and poke each other and giggle and smile together. They also cry together, feeling their fellow baby's pain. Logan loves to play with Marcus's toys and right when Marcus notices, that particular toy becomes Marcus's favorite... those scenarios have started off a few crying sessions...
They are both cute, good baby boys! And they are so fun to photograph, because Logan and Marcus both love to look at the camera with wonder!

About Me

My photo
Spokane, WA, United States
Photojournalism portraiture: I photograph people, I am not the greatest at landscape, though I often still try. But people are my specialty. I capture natural expressions and emotions during my photo shoots. I focus on the simplicity of fun and life whether it be for an individual or whole wedding party.
