The Land Between

These are mid-day photos, the light is stark and harsh and not what I would prefer when photographing anything. But my intent was to focus on the beauty that I take for granted and never stop to notice. The drive to Seattle is lovely, I really enjoy it, but I fly by it all. I never take the time to forget about time, to stop along the way and enjoy the wonder. So last weekend I resolved to stop, off the roadside, at a scenic view, and even at a petrified forest that I never knew existed. It took me six hours to get to Seattle and it was great!

About Me

Photojournalism portraiture: I photograph people, I am not the greatest at landscape, though I often still try. But people are my specialty. I capture natural expressions and emotions during my photo shoots. I focus on the simplicity of fun and life whether it be for an individual or whole wedding party.
