Daddy's Little Girl

Last Sunday was such a rainy day, but for a few hours in the afternoon the clouds broke up to let a splash of sun shine through. There was lovely natural light when Luke and his daughter Ella got their pictures taken together. The park was covered in hues of green, yellow and red which made a beautiful setting. Ella is a sweet girl with lots of fun energy and liked to "ham up" for the camera! She loved playing around with her dad at the park. Thanks for a fun session!

Weekend Adventure

I have lived in Spokane most of my life but I had never gone to Glacier National Park until last weekend! I have been wanting to go there all summer, but never made the time to actually do it. Then my friend Jane, who is from Iowa, said, "I am so close to Glacier Park, it would be sad to go home and never see it."
"That would be so sad!" I said, and right there we made a plan to see it the coming weekend. Everything planned out great, so off we went on a beautiful adventure into Montana, seeing shining lakes, purple mountains, and big blues skies.

It was so cold and dark when we left for our hike at 8:30 am, until the sun peaked over the mountains thawing out the shadows, making a warm, lovely day!

The sun made the fire-wore trees glow white looking like porcupine quills.

Love in Autumn

It was a beautiful day with bright sun and a wonderful fall warmth in the air. But there was one problem, the bride did not have her dress! It was left at the house an hour and a half away and the wedding started in two hours... Jamie held her composure so well while she waited for her dress to arrive! And when it finally did, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and she quickly dressed. Her bridesmaids were in there to help with the last little accessories and then she was ready. Jamie looked radiant and Logan looked so proud at the sight of his lovely bride.

Photojournalism portraiture: I photograph people, I am not the greatest at landscape, though I often still try. But people are my specialty. I capture natural expressions and emotions during my photo shoots. I focus on the simplicity of fun and life whether it be for an individual or whole wedding party.
